The abysm of the bubble

camada de separação

The metaphor of the bubble, when confronted with the extreme geological relief.
The confinement and the restriction of contact, in a kind of relationship bubble, the caution with the touch and the surfaces. The fear of transmission.
From the window of our imaginary buildings, this supposed layer of isolation, we see a possibility of disruption, the delicate skin of the will in contrast with the shattering of the plains, of the accident.

Abysm. Old spelling* with a suggestive “y” in descent. The space of suppression, which we cannot reach without effort and where the fall is a risk.

For the earthlings, the bubble floats until it bursts out. It belongs to the landscape like a membrane that is reintegrated after it is broken. The abyss, meanwhile, is a sign of interdiction, interruption and difficulty. There is no continuity in the ease of the course. Even so, its topology denotes material continuity, an uneven ground.

The accesses and movements are modified by the floatation of the bubble. Nevertheless, we are still driven by the magnetic fields and by gravity, whose force is perceived on the reliefs and geographies.

Cartographies of senses and interdictions, memories of the haptic senses and intentions guided by perspectives.
