A mapping of reason

To pulse with the tides.
To roam by the waterside, on the line of unmaking of the solidity of earth.
To lay the paper on the mourning chest, going along the line drawn by breathing.
To cartograph the states of transition of feelings, weathers, abandonments.
To observe, day by day, the changing tides, the debris cast by the river on the beach.

A mapping of reason. Isabelle Catucci. Photography, drawing and watercolor. Photo by the author. 2020.

Jellyfish, medusa, man o' war. Tranquility and transparence, visible on the waves on the sand after the floods and rains. Creases, curves, wrinkles, glazes.

A mapping of the pulse in the contingency of the body. An area delimited by water, a continent drawn by the transition of the elements. A moving chart of the variations and exchanges. A kind, shaky line, autonomous, similar.

Shades and overlaps, states of reason in questioning, fluctuations of life, a critique of judgement and the assumption of uncertainty.
