Boundary line

The line in the measurement of the land for the division of strategic areas of occupation.

A dividing line traced on the earth, on the square block, with ceramic walls that follow both sides crossed by the line.

The result of such division is evidenced by the scrapings, the grains detached from the block, on the floor. The piece, harmonized by symmetry, lets the meaning slip to the space outside the circumscription area, in relation with the excluded third, forming two opposed points of agglutination.

Even though they are not necessary in the structural relation for the conformation of the earth block, the ceramic sides ensure the containment of the limits, whose area can be easily identified.

The dividing line does not separate the block entirely, though it digs deep enough for the gap to be seen from the sides of the block. The risk of breaking is increased with this small split, a line that tends to change the whole structure.
